VIRGIN HAIR VS. REMY HAIR - WHATS THE DIFFERENCE?

Have you ever wondered what the meaning of Remy, Yaky, Virgin, Brazilian, Peruvian, Mongolian, Chinese, Italian, European, or Russian hair is?  It¡¯s a mouth full that¡¯s what it is!  (LOL)

In this article we will discuss the most popular textures of human hair weaves used today.

Remy Hair
can be categorized in the premium segment, as far as hair quality is concerned.  Remy Hair is bundled in such a manner that the roots of the hair are on one side and the tip of the hair on the opposite side.   Since all the hair cuticles are placed in the same direction, the hairs remain undisturbed, making them more durable and long lasting.

Let¡¯s get one thing straight ladies Remy Hair does not always mean Virgin hair, in fact it rarely means that.   Although the two terms are used synonymously, they are completely different in meanings.

Yaky Hair:  Is called Yaky or Regular Yaky or Regular relaxed yaky.  Yaky is made to look like typical African American hair that has been relaxed and is not as silky as the Remy hair, the strands are thicker.
Virgin hair means that it¡¯s hair so pure that it¡¯s never been processed or treated, EVER.   That means the donors have never in their lifetime gone to a salon to get their hair curled or colored!

Brazilian, Peruvian, Mongolian, Chinese, and Italian hair are all a form of Virgin hair.  The hair is 100% natural and not processed and free of any damage to the cuticles.   The hair usually comes from the specific country it is named after.

European hair is collected in the CIS countries; they consist of what was used to be the Soviet Union.  The main difference of this hair consists that they have natural correct European colors, from dark brown to light-blonde.   The structure of the hair is thin and silky.  European hair blends well with women of European decent.

The truth is, 97% of all human hair out there has been chemically treated in one form or another.  Forget about what¡¯s virgin and what¡¯s not, and concentrate on attaining quality hair for you and your clients.  The one fundamental key you want to know is how it¡¯s being processed and treated.
